John Lee Johnson asked the CU community many years ago "who's gonna wake up one day and fall in love with their community? Who will not wait to hear a set of drums from someone else, but will get out and do what they have to do?"
Titianna “Tati” has answered the call. She has spent countless hours helping organize soup kitchens, clothing drives, relief efforts after disaster devastated communities, and most recently a Thanksgiving dinner giveaway for our homeless population. She is ready to take her love for her community and her commitment to service to Urbana City Hall and work for the people of Urbana.
A public office that works for the public.
As a County Board member and long-time community activist, Titianna is dedicated to making local government more engaging and accessible. Titianna believes that local offices should intentionally work to more directly serve the public. Titianna knows how important it is to make public offices transparent and accessible to single moms, citizens seeking information through the Freedom of Information Act, or candidates running for office.
